    CA - Foundation

    It is entry level to Chartered Accountancy course.

     

    v  Eligibility - Senior secondary (10+2) examination conducted by an examining body constituted by law in India or an examination recognised by the Central Government as equivalent thereto.  Student who appears in class 10+2 examination can also apply for registration to CA – Foundation.

    v  Due Date for registration – Although admission remain open throughout the year, But exam take place twice a year and there is requirement of minimum of four months study period to appear in the Foundation Examination. Meaning thereby gap between the date of registration and first day of month of exam should be 4 months.

    v  Procedure of Registration

     

    Step 1 - Candidate has to register online on ICAI website (www.icai.org) in “Course Registration Forms” under “Students tab”.  After making successful payment on gateway, registration form will be generated

     

    Step 2 - Following documents are to be submitted along with the print out of the online registration form, duly signed by the candidate; to concerned regional office within 7 days from the date of online registration.

     

    ·         Attested copy of Admit Card / Mark sheet of Class 12 examination issued by the respective Board

     

    ·         Attested copy of the 10th Mark sheet/ Admit Card of 10th class indicating the Name & Date of Birth

     

    ·         One recent colour photograph (affixed on the printout of the online successful registration form)

     

    ·         Attested copy of proof of special category (SC, ST, OBC, Differently able) certificate, if applicable.

     

    ·         Attested copy of proof of Nationality, in case of foreign student
